Job description

We’re looking for an educational content developer to design and build high-quality, interactive STEM learning materials for our digital platform.
We combine educational expertise with smart technology to create engaging digital learning experiences. You’ll contribute to innovative content projects and collaborate with a team that values creativity, pedagogy, and impact.
You’ll be part of a diverse, international team of STEM content developers and editors, working closely with colleagues across departments.


🚀What you will do

  • Develop exercises with randomized parameters, hints, and tailored feedback using tools like Maxima, Python, or R. 

  • Write theory pages enriched with interactive GeoGebra applets and explanatory Manim videos. 

  • Design and maintain assessments and proficiency tests, ensuring pedagogical quality and alignment with learning objectives. 

  • Apply educational design principles to ensure clarity, engagement, and accessibility. 

  • Participate in peer review and contribute to continuous content improvement. 

  • Deliver online or onsite workshops to train external authors and clients. 

  • Provide educational support to internal teams and clients. 


Our team’s base office is located at Amsterdam Science Park, with the flexibility to work from other Paragin Group locations.

Job requirements

You’re a problem solver with a passion for education and technology. You enjoy presenting, collaborating, and creating meaningful learning experiences. 

💡What you bring

  • Near-native proficiency in Dutch and fluency in English, both written and spoken. 

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills. 

  • A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in mathematics, physics, or engineering. 

  • Strong knowledge of college-level mathematics and a broad interest in STEM. 

  • Insight into (STEM) didactics and educational science. 

  • Basic programming skills (R or Python are a plus). 

  • Experience with computer algebra systems (CAS). 

  • A collaborative mindset and attention to detail. 

Bonus skills 

  • Background in teaching, educational content creation, or curriculum design and development. 

  • Experience in educational or academic writing. 

  • Interest or experience in AI in education.
